About Me
Hi, my name is Olivia, and I am a bit of a hippie at heart. I homeschool my kids, and I honestly think uni is overrated for many people. Yes, uni is perfect if you want to be an engineer, a college professor, a doctor or many other positions, but I have seen too many friends leave with liberal arts degrees and end up working in coffee shops. Instead of pushing everyone toward uni, I think people should explore trade schools. We need welders, plumbers, machinists and other trades. In this blog, I am going to write about my research and tips for succeeding in trade schools, but I also want to focus on the future of trade schools. I hope that it is bright, and I think we as a culture are ready for a larger focus on trade schools.
